Subterranean clover is a low growing branching annual legume that is quite hardy. It will grow where most other clovers will not survive. It can reseed itself so it can turn into a weed issue if not managed. The prostrate growth pattern gives excellent weed suppression, so in a blend. It may start to take over by spreading by stolons. Drought resistance is fair, shade tolerance is high.
